This policy explains how VIGO and Giga Solutions Technologies LLC collect, use, disclose, protect, and retain information associated with VIGO services.
Last updated: July 22, 2026We may collect account details, contact information, passenger and driver profile information, reservation details, pickup and destination information, device and technical data, payment status, communications, and customer support records.
Driver accounts may also include identity, licensing, vehicle, insurance, eligibility, and onboarding information.
Information may be used to authenticate users, provide quotes, create and manage reservations, assign drivers, process payments, communicate ride updates, support users, improve safety, prevent fraud, maintain the platform, and comply with legal obligations.
Location information may be processed when needed to calculate routes, provide pickup and destination services, support active rides, display driver progress, and improve operational safety. Device permissions may be managed through device settings.
VIGO works with service providers for payment processing, mapping, routing, cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, security, and other operational functions. These providers process information according to their services and applicable agreements.
Information may be shared between riders and assigned drivers as necessary to provide a ride, with authorized service providers, during a business transaction, to protect safety and platform integrity, or when required by law.
VIGO uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. Data is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for service, safety, payment, fraud prevention, tax, dispute, contractual, and legal purposes.
Users may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible account information. Some records may be retained when required or permitted by law. Account deletion instructions are available at go-vigo.com/account-deletion.
VIGO services are not intended for children to create independent accounts where prohibited by applicable law.
This policy may be updated as services, technology, or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will be posted on this page.
